Mrs. Potts is currently the School Library Media Specialist and The District Testing Coordinator, but has taught 4th-7th grades, been Cheer Sponsor and also coached Fast-Pitch Softball. She graduated high school from Norman in 1992, but has roots in Tipton and attended school here from 1985-1989. She attended college at OU, WOSC, and completed her Bachelor's degree at Cameron University in 1996. In May 2009, she graduated with her Master's in Library Science from East Central University. Mrs. Potts is married to her high school sweetheart, Brian. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Makenzie and Macy. She loves living in Tipton because the people here truly make you feel like family. Mrs. Potts is an avid Sooner fan who attends as many games as possible. She spends at least one week every summer in Florida, either at the beach or Walt Disney World, and one week in the mountains at Red River, New Mexico. She is happy anywhere, as long as her husband and girls are there. She loves to read, swim, work in her yard, and spend time with her family. Mrs. Potts loves being an educator because she loves being around kids. She says that the best gift is to see a child succeed.
Cheryl Luckett is the library aide. She has worked at Tipton Schools for years doing various jobs. She became the library aid in August of 2009. She has three children, Ashley, Chance, and Kendall.
